Dr. Carl Petrilli
Dr. Carl Petrilli is a board-certified family medicine physician who previously served as an active duty clinician and clinical leader in the U.S. Army, caring for soldiers, trainees, and their families at Moncrief Army Health Clinic in Fort Jackson, South Carolina. As Chief of the Department of Soldier Care and Medical Director for the Department of Sports Medicine at Fort Jackson—the largest basic training installation in the U.S. Army—he led teams responsible for keeping thousands of new soldiers healthy, resilient, and mission-ready.
He completed his Family Medicine residency at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center and medical training at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, building a strong foundation in comprehensive primary care, preventive medicine, and whole-person wellness. In his concierge practice, Dr. Petrilli partners closely with a limited number of patients to provide unhurried visits, same- or next-day access, and personalized care plans tailored to each person’s health goals, activity level, and stage of life.
Dr. Petrilli has a particular interest in musculoskeletal health, bone stress injury, and performance optimization, and he enjoys caring for active individuals—from recreational athletes to busy professionals who want to function at their best. He has contributed to national references on chronic kidney disease and hearing loss and is involved in an ongoing Department of Defense funded study on the treatment of stress fractures, reflecting his commitment to evidence-based, up‑to‑date care.
Drawing on years of sideline and team coverage for college athletics and national sporting events, he understands the unique needs of physically active people and those who want to stay in the game at every age. He values clear communication, shared decision‑making, and long‑term relationships, and strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel known, heard, and supported in every interaction. Outside of medicine, he is a husband to a fellow family medicine physician and a father of four young children, which deeply informs his perspective on family‑centered care and sustainable, healthy living.
