One Doctor for Your Florida Season
Splitting the year between two states should not mean starting over with a new doctor every winter. Establish care with Dr. Burkholder when you arrive, and he coordinates with your physician back home.
While you are in Tampa Bay, you can reach your doctor by phone, text, telehealth, in the office or at your residence. Members use our Lutz or Tampa office, whichever is closer.

How long does a Snowbird Membership run?
It is structured around your season. Tell us roughly when you arrive in Tampa Bay and when you leave, and we will scope the membership to that.
Can you keep my prescriptions filled while I am in Florida?
Yes. Dr. Burkholder manages your medications while you are here and coordinates with your physician at home so nothing lapses. Certain controlled substances carry additional legal requirements he will walk you through.
