Dr. Justin Burkholder

Founder & Medical Director · Emergency Medicine

A board-certified emergency medicine physician, Dr. Burkholder was a courtside physician for Olympians at the Rio 2016 Olympics and served on the front lines during Hurricanes Irma and Ian, the Zika epidemic and the COVID-19 pandemic.

He created Olympic Concierge Medicine to be the opposite of long waits, rushed visits and feeling like just a number. He gives patients back time, trust and a true partnership in their health.

Dr. Burkholder is board-certified in emergency medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and is the medical director of Olympic Concierge Medicine. During his residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, he treated people from all over the world and from all walks of life, including movie stars and professional athletes. He trained at the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital alongside the US military.

Before medical school, he worked alongside the President of the American Academy of Preventive Medicine, helping oversee the health and wellbeing of more than 100,000 employees at GlaxoSmithKline, at the US headquarters in Philadelphia and the South American headquarters in Rio de Janeiro. He was a multi-sport high school and Division I collegiate athlete and knows what it takes to be the healthiest you can be.

Growing up in a medical family, he is focused on the whole person, and physical fitness and nutrition are among his passions. He lives in the Tampa area with his wife Kelsey, their two children, Atlas and Capri, and their Labrador Retriever, Sedona. His goal is to help people live the longer, healthier life they deserve and to provide answers and guidance when it matters most.

Dr. Carl Petrilli

Dr. Carl Petrilli is a board-certified family medicine physician dedicated to personalized, relationship-based care. With a background in military medicine and leadership, he has extensive experience in preventive care, performance optimization, and caring for active individuals and families.

He believes in taking the time to truly know his patients and partnering with them to achieve their long-term health goals.

Kelsey Burkholder is the Practice Manager at Olympic Concierge Medicine, bringing over 15 years of experience in customer service, operations, and patient experience. She is passionate about ensuring every member receives exceptional, personalized service and works behind the scenes to make every interaction with our practice seamless, responsive, and welcoming.
